Terms of Service

The terms that govern your organization and its users' access to the cOS Enterprise AI Platform, alongside your organization's enterprise agreement.

Effective date: September 2026

Who these terms cover

You reach cOS through your organization. Your organization's enterprise agreement with cOS Technologies, Inc. governs its use of the platform; these terms describe what is expected of the people who use it day to day. Where the two differ, the enterprise agreement controls.

Your organization's admins decide who gets an account, what each user may do, and what data and mini-apps are available in the tenant. Your access lasts as long as your organization says it does.

Acceptable use

Use the platform for lawful business purposes consistent with your organization's agreement and its own policies. Do not:

  • bypass, disable or probe access controls, permissions or tenant boundaries, or attempt to reach data you have not been granted;
  • disrupt or degrade the service, or interfere with other tenants' use of it;
  • generate or distribute content that violates applicable law, infringes someone's rights, or breaches your organization's policies;
  • reverse engineer the platform or its models, or use it to build a competing AI product or service;
  • use the platform to develop or train competing models on its outputs; or
  • resell or provide access to people outside your organization unless your enterprise agreement permits it.

You are responsible for activity under your account, including keeping your credentials and devices secure.

Your content and ownership

Your organization retains ownership of its enterprise data, and of the user-generated content created in cOS — prompts, messages, files, workflows and the outputs they produce. We claim no ownership of it.

You grant cOS Technologies, Inc. the license it needs to process that data and content in order to provide, secure and support the service. cOS does not build or train AI models, so nothing you create here is used to train a cOS model; where an AI feature sends content to a third-party model provider, that is described in our Privacy Policy and governed by your enterprise agreement.

AI output and human judgment

Output generated by the platform's AI features may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, and two runs of the same request may not produce the same answer. Factual claims in an output should not be relied on without checking them.

You are responsible for evaluating output before you use or share it, including applying human review where the stakes warrant it. Do not use output as the sole basis for a decision that has a legal or material effect on a person — such as credit, employment, housing, insurance, education, medical or legal decisions — and do not present AI output as professional advice.

Output is not guaranteed to be unique; similar requests by other customers may produce similar results.

Mini-apps and third-party services

cOS is an open platform, and some mini-apps and integrations available in it are built and operated by third parties. Those are provided under their own terms and privacy practices, and cOS Technologies, Inc. is not responsible for how they behave or how they handle the data you give them.

Your organization's admins decide which mini-apps may be installed in the tenant. If you publish a mini-app to the platform, you are responsible for what it does with the data it receives and for complying with these terms.

Confidentiality

Enterprise data and user-generated content in your tenant are your organization's confidential information, and we treat them that way. Equally, what you can see in cOS reflects the permissions your organization granted you — treat it according to your organization's own confidentiality rules and do not move it somewhere it does not belong.

Availability, changes and suspension

We aim to keep the platform available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis except where your organization's enterprise agreement says otherwise, and that agreement — not this page — sets any service levels, warranties and limits of liability.

Features change: we add, modify and retire functionality over time, and give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what the platform does. We may suspend access for an account, or for a tenant, where it is necessary to address a security risk, a legal requirement, or a breach of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes are communicated to your organization's admins, who are responsible for passing them on. Continued use after a change means the updated terms apply.

Questions

Questions about these terms, about what your organization has agreed to, or about what you are permitted to do in the platform should go to your organization's admin, who can raise them with cOS Technologies, Inc. under the enterprise agreement.
